Off to OSV!

Today the weather was beautiful. No humidity and the temperature was much lower than it has been in about a week or so. Charlotte and I decided to head out to Old Sturbridge Village for a little while this morning. This is one of our favorite places to visit and because of that we have a membership. On a beautiful day, just walking around is very enjoyable. Charlotte especially loves to see the sheep. She would stand and look and them and pet them all day if I let her!
When we decide to take a trip to OSV, we pack up and head out the door fairly early. They open at 9:30am, so we try to get there between 9:30 and 10. That way we can be home in time for lunch and nap. Sometimes we will pack a lunch to bring with us.

Our first stop is always at this farm to check out the sheep. :)
A newer baby sheep is there.

Charlotte checking out the new baby sheep.

More sheep!

This is Charlotte's favorite house to stop at.
You can play with the toys, try out a bed from the 1800's,
and interact with life in the late 1800's.
There are even some dress up clothes, which we aren't into just yet.

Chilling out with a little snack.

Our 2nd favorite place to visit is the Freeman Farm.
The pigs, cows, sheep, and chickens live there.
Charlotte loves to visit the kitchen to see what they
are cooking and pet some more animals.
This sheep was just hanging out and enjoying Charlotte's attention. :)

Home for lunch and I decided to try something different today!

Charlotte was fascinated by the little cups with her lunch in it.

She was even more excited for the very rare treat of a juice box!

That was our day today! Tomorrow will be a little more relaxing with Daddy home. He is currently taking a class 3 days a week. Next week is his last week and we will be happy to be home with him all day too!
Next week is a BIG week for Charlotte. She will get her long awaited leg/ankle braces to help strengthen her up to walk. We also have her first dentist appointment and another trip to Children's hospital to visit with another neurologist to see if we can find out anything else with her low muscle tone. We may also take another trip to a different children's museum on Monday, we'll see!
